We’re grateful to have the support of our partner McDonald’s and it’s franchisees who have made a huge impact when they donated a whopping £250,000.

McDonald’s have been our closest corporate partner since 1989. On top of the amazing support of McDonald’s staff and customers throughout 2021, McDonald’s donated an incredible £250,000 to our Christmas campaign.
Thank you to McDonald’s and it’s franchisees for the incredible £250,000 donation – this is enough to accommodate 625 families in a Ronald McDonald House for the duration of their child’s hospital treatment.
And will enable us to:
- Provide accommodation for these families to be near their ill child as long as they need it
- Reduce the financial burden they experience
- Alleviate the isolation and stress they may feel
- Ensure trained house teams are available to support family-centred care
- Enhance the emotional well-being of children and families
£250,000 could pay for 1,000 sets of pillows, sheets and duvets to keep our families cosy.
£250,000 is what it costs for 298 days of electricity across all our Houses, keeping kettles boiled, TVs blaring and WiFi whirring.
Our staff are the heart of our Houses and the incredible donation of £250k from McDonald’s will be able to keep that heart beating for over a month!

Since 1989, McDonald’s and its Franchisees have been supporting our Charity.
As well as donating part of their profits, McDonald’s and its Franchisees also hold annual fundraising days, provide free office space, business resources and advertising.
