Other ways to give

Whether it is leaving money in your will or making a donation in memory of a loved one, we hope it brings you some comfort to know that by supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities UK you will be helping us to keep even more families near their sick children in hospital.

Leave a legacy

A gift in your will could help us to support thousands more children and families who need us, now and in the future.

Remembering our Charity in your will

Making a will guarantees our loved ones are cared for once we have gone, and is also an opportunity to support a charity that we feel passionately about. We understand that your loved ones come first. After you’ve taken care of the people closest to you, a small percentage of whatever is left of your estate could make a huge difference to families with children in hospital.

For more information on making your will and leaving a gift to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, please request an information leaflet by completing the enquiry form below or get in touch via our contact page.

Give in memory

We know that losing a loved one is devastating. There may come a point in time when you wish to remember that loved one by doing something in their memory.

You can remember a loved one in several ways

Raise money with an online donation page

Many of our supporters choose to set up an online donation page for anyone who finds it easier to donate this way, or who cannot attend the funeral. You can do this by setting up a Just Giving page.

Set up a page

Take part in an event

You may wish to take part in an event such as a cycle or run. Our event section has lots of ideas for challenge events in which you can take part to remember a loved one.

Donation envelopes or donation in lieu of flowers

We can provide you with free donation envelopes for funeral collections. We will be able to claim Gift Aid on any eligible donations made through these envelopes, generating up to 25p extra for every £1 that is donated at no cost to you. To request envelopes, please contact us on  rmhc.supportercare@uk.mcd.com

Create your own fundraiser

You can also create your own fundraising event. Take a look at our fundraising pack for some inspiration.

Once you have planned a fundraising event register it HERE with us so we can help support you.

Information for funeral directors

Many families choose to donate in memory of their loved one to their charity of choice. We really appreciate your guidance for our supporters. Please get in touch with rmhc.supportercare@uk.mcd.com if you wish to receive: Ronald McDonald House Charities Gift Aid envelopes or In Memory giving leaflets to distribute, detailing how these donations support the Charity.

Please make any cheques payable to Ronald McDonald House Charities and send to the following address:
In Memory Fundraising, Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, 6 Victoria Road, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham B72 1SY

We will acknowledge receipt of the donation to yourselves and send an acknowledgement to the supporter. We really appreciate the support Funeral Directors provide to Ronald McDonald House Charities in providing free home away from home accommodation for families to be close to their child in hospital.

It costs us £35 per night to accommodate one family and last year donations made in memory of loved ones were the equivalent of over 1,000 nights for families staying in our Houses. Thank you for your continued support.
