How your pound goes round

Whether it’s 1p or £1, every donation helps us keep families in the UK close to their poorly children in hospital.

A little can change a lot.

Thank you for supporting families with children in hospital

Families just like the Harriotts, who found themselves with no where to stay when baby Elsie was in the intensive care unit.

But thankfully, our Ronald McDonald House Oxford could give parents Joe and Kate a place to sleep, eat and escape from the stress of the hospital ward.

Meet the families you’re supporting

They gave me my life back

Rosie’s story

“When I was 13, I was in high school. I stood up and I just couldn’t bare any weight on one of my legs. I couldn’t move, I couldn’t do anything.

I ended up staying in Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital for over 12 months.

But Ronald McDonald House Manchester were there for my family. And the people I met on my journey 100% inspired me to become a nurse.

I’m in my second year of training now, and I absolutely love it.”

We owe them everything

Oscar and Mason’s story

“After being transferred to a hospital more than 150 miles from home, I was told, in the midst of giving birth by c-section, that neither of my twin baby boys would survive.

But they were ready to put up a fight and defied doctors’ expectations.

The road ahead wasn’t an easy one, but thankfully I was able to stay at Ronald McDonald House Tooting, a short walk from the ward.”

Our relationship with McDonald’s UK

By our side since 1989

Without the support of McDonald’s UK, their Franchisees and its customers, we wouldn’t exist. By rounding up on the kiosk, donating via MyMcDonald’s or joining in on the fun at a fundraiser, you’re supporting families with children in hospital without even realising it.

No matter how you choose to support us, thank you.

Every pound, every penny, every action you take, you are helping families with seriously ill children in hospital.
