Anyone can make a difference.
Challenge yourself with a running event this year and raise money for families with children in hospital and get a free running t-shirt.
In 2022, Joe decided it was time to challenge himself. Here’s his story:
This year, we’re asking you to;
push yourself,
cross something off your bucket list,
or take on a completely new challenge.
All whilst raising money to give families with children in hospital somewhere to stay close by.
It’s more important than ever that families are close to their children in hospital because we know our Houses enable that all important family-centred care.
It spurred me on, it definitely did. I’m actually working towards something now.
– fundraiser, Joe.

This year, thousands of families will need a Ronald McDonald House.
Every day, families will travel miles to and from the hospital to visit their sick child.
Specialist children’s hospitals often don’t have room for parents to stay. Families can be found sleeping on the ward, in corridors or their car, just to stay close to their sick child.
Families just like these five, who stayed close to their children, thanks to our Manchester House.
Do something amazing this year.
Impact the lives of families with children in hospital.
Keep updated with news from our Houses, the families we help, events and fundraising opportunities.
