Gala Dinner 2020

Join us at this year’s Annual Gala Dinner and help us 'Build Bridges'!

Friday 20 March 2020

We are thrilled to announce that the Ronald McDonald House Charities UK annual Gala Dinner is back! With the help of our friends and supporters, we hope that this year’s event will be the best one yet!

This year’s theme is ‘Building Bridges‘, to represent the purpose of our work; offering connection and support to families with children in hospital. We invite you to cross the river with us to our new location – – InterContinental London – The O2, Greenwich, London, where we will welcome celebrity friends, supporters, stakeholders and families who have benefited from the Charity.

Over the course of the evening, guests will enjoy a three course meal and refreshments, entertainment, and opportunities to win great prizes. The Gala Dinner will acknowledge the life-changing support the Charity offers families, and also rally up fundraising donations. Last year we raised a grand total of £671,145, and hope to beat this number this year.  All donations and awareness help us continue our important work and keep families with seriously ill children together during the toughest of times.

About Ronald McDonald House Charities UK

At Ronald McDonald House Charities we provide free ‘home away from home’ accommodation at specialist children’s hospitals across the UK, enabling families to stay close to their child and maintain a degree of normal family life.

We support families while their child receives care and treatment in a specialist children’s hospital by giving them a warm and welcoming place to rest their heads, just a moment away from their child. Over the last 30 years we have helped tens of thousands of families during some of the toughest periods in their lives. When a child is in hospital their family can often be faced with having to travel long distances each day and either pay for costly hotel rooms or sleep on a chair at their bedside. Our Houses provide our families with a comfortable place to stay that’s close to their child, giving them more time and energy to focus on being together.
