Supporter Care and Resource Centre Assistant

Salary: £22,000 per annum
Location: Flexible working between home and the Regional McDonald's Office in Sutton Coldfield

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supporter Care and Resource Centre Assistant to join our fast-growing Charity.

This role will form part of our new Supporter Care and Resource Centre which sits within the heart of fundraising at Ronald McDonald House Charities UK. This team will often be the first point of contact to many of our supporters. As such, the role will play an important job in ensuring supporters receive a positive experience, and are guided to getting involved further, whether through a challenge event, within their business or community, or to becoming a valued individual giver.

Permanent. Full-time hours are 35 per week. Part time three days a week will also be considered.
Will be required to work occasional weekends and evenings.

Since 1989 the Charity has been supporting families with children in hospital. This is an exciting time to join the Charity, as we move in to our 31st year of providing accommodation and support for families at such a traumatic time in their lives.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free “home away from home” accommodation for the families of sick children who are being treated in hospital. Our support helps ease financial worry, reduces the stresses of travel, keeps families together and ensures family stability is maintained during a very difficult time. It makes a very positive, real and tangible difference to the families of sick children across the UK.

All applications will be considered upon receipt. Candidates will be informed if they have been shortlisted for a first-stage interview to be held provisionally Wednesday 29 September.

Interviews will be conducted virtually by Bhav Borhara, Supporter Care and Resource Centre Manager, and Vanessa Simmons, National Community Fundraising Manager.

A second round of interviews will be held in person with successful candidates on Wednesday 6 October.
