London Community Fundraiser

Salary: £26-£28k (dependent on experience) plus London weighting
Location: Flexible working between home and Ronald McDonald House Evelina London

We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Fundraiser for the Central London region to join our fast-growing Charity. The role will be based at our Evelina London House but we are happy to discuss some level of remote working from home.

We are looking for a Community Fundraising expert and a brilliant communicator – someone always one step ahead. You are independent, able to and empowered to work instinctively. You are perceptive, sensing what the next step should be. You are versatile and will have the ability to translate our story into rich content and compelling scenarios inspiring people to work with us. Above all, you naturally build rapport to quickly establish relationships and develop innovative partnerships.

Permanent. Full-time hours are 35 per week. You will be required to work occasional weekends and evenings.

Since 1989 the Charity has been supporting families with children in hospital. This is an exciting time to join the Charity, as we move in to our 31st year of providing accommodation and support for families at such a traumatic time in their lives.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free “home away from home” accommodation for the families of sick children who are being treated in hospital. Our support helps ease financial worry, reduces the stresses of travel, keeps families together and ensures family stability is maintained during a very difficult time. It makes a very positive, real and tangible difference to the families of sick children across the UK.

All applications will be considered immediately after the closing date and candidates informed if they have been shortlisted for a first-stage interview to be held on Thursday 3 June.

Interviews will be conducted virtually by Vanessa Simmons, National Community Fundraising Manager and Charlotte Smith, Community Fundraiser for the East and West Midlands. Second round of interviews will be held in person in London on Thursday 10 June.
