House Assistant - Tooting

Salary: £24,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
Location: Ronald McDonald House Tooting

We are seeking to appoint a House Assistant, situated in our Ronald McDonald House Tooting.

We are looking for a House Assistant who is self-motivated, enjoys working as part of a team, and will share our vision of wanting to keep families close to their sick child. Working with the Tooting House team and reporting to the Deputy House Manager, the successful candidate will strive to create an excellent, safe and welcoming environment for our families to stay at such difficult times. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, committed and relational individual who is proactive and can plan and prioritise work effectively.

Permanent: 28 -35 hours per week.

Since 1989 the Charity has supported over 60,000 families with children in hospital. This is an exciting time to join the Charity, as we approach 35 years of providing accommodation and support for families at such a traumatic time in their lives.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free “home away from home” accommodation for the families of sick children who are being treated in hospital. Our support helps ease financial worry, reduces the stresses of travel, keeps families together and ensures family stability is maintained during a very difficult time. It makes a very positive, real and tangible difference to the families of sick children across the UK.
