Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications

Salary: Circa £95,000 per annum depending on experience
Location: United Kingdom (Hybrid working)

Our new Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide free accommodation for families with children in hospital. You will work closely with our Chief Executive, our Board of Trustees, and the Leadership Team to develop an ambitious fundraising and marketing strategy, growing income and building our brand.

You will have exceptional strategic fundraising skills, with a track record of successfully building and leading high-performing, diverse teams to deliver a step change in come from a broad range of sources. It may be that you have worked in executive leadership roles in charities of a similar scale and complexity to ours or a second-tier director role within one of the largest in our sector.

Full-time, permanent contract (35 hours per week)

Since 1989 the Charity has been supporting families with children in hospital. This is an exciting time to join the Charity, as we approach 35 years of providing accommodation and support for families at such a traumatic time in their lives.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free “home away from home” accommodation for the families of sick children who are being treated in hospital. Our support helps ease financial worry, reduces the stresses of travel, keeps families together and ensures family stability is maintained during a very difficult time. It makes a very positive, real and tangible difference to the families of sick children across the UK.
